Today I officially signed up for Creative Wire Jewelry's Year of Jewelry 2009, and so I figured I should probably get this blog moving along.
I'll be posting technical details and commentary on my YOJ entries, but I also hope to share my Etsy and gallery adventures as well as other things (both jewelry and not) that catch my fancy.
So please drop in. There will be a new post at least once a week since YOJ is a weekly item. I hope to post much more often than that.

- I love to make things - jewelry, delicious food, clothing - and have been doing that most of my life. My daughter remembers the bathtub being blue from dying basket reeds. Now I make jewelry from silver, crystals, and beads. My husband and the two cats think that's cool, as long they don't miss suppertime.
